Norway Hosting Conditions
The following articles summarize the hosting model and operational rules communicated by the hosting partner, adapted for Eurominers customers. The individual signed hosting agreement remains the controlling document for customer-specific terms.
What is mining hosting?
Mining hosting means that your ASIC operates in a professional data-centre environment instead of at your home or own premises. The hosting service provides the site, power infrastructure, cooling, networking and operational support while you remain the owner of the hardware.
Who owns the ASIC?
The customer remains the owner of the ASIC. Hosting does not transfer ownership of the machine to Eurominers or the hosting operator. The mining equipment is operated on the customer’s behalf under the hosting arrangement.
How does the hosting process work?
The process is straightforward: select the hosting location and hardware, receive the applicable commercial terms, sign the hosting agreement, deliver the ASIC to the agreed facility, and have the machine tested, installed and configured for operation.
Can I buy an ASIC from Eurominers and send it directly to Norway?
Yes. An ASIC purchased from Eurominers can be arranged for direct delivery to the Norwegian hosting facility, avoiding an unnecessary delivery to the customer first. Logistics and commissioning are coordinated according to the individual order.
Can you host an ASIC bought somewhere else?
Third-party hardware can be considered subject to technical compatibility and available capacity. Additional handling or installation charges may apply, and Eurominers cannot provide a product warranty for equipment that was not purchased from Eurominers.
Which miners can be hosted?
Hosting is intended primarily for efficient, professional ASIC equipment with several kilowatts of continuous load. Compatibility depends on the model, power draw, cooling concept, efficiency and the technical requirements of the Norwegian facility.
How is electricity billed?
Electricity is billed according to the actual consumption of the hosted machine. The customer receives the corresponding electricity charge through the hosting billing process, and electricity consumption during downtime or repair is treated according to the applicable hosting agreement.
What is the hosting setup fee?
The current Eurominers configuration shows a one-time hosting setup fee of €99 per kW. It is charged once at the beginning of the hosting service. Any customer-specific setup arrangement must be confirmed in the final agreement.
What is included in hosting?
The hosting service covers the agreed rack/space arrangement together with electricity supply, cooling infrastructure, cleaning and maintenance, firmware/update support where applicable, reboot services, monitoring and operational assistance, subject to the final agreement.
How is maintenance handled?
The hosting team monitors the equipment and handles operational interventions required at the facility. If a machine develops a fault, the issue can be diagnosed and, where appropriate, handled on site or through a specialist repair process.
What happens if my ASIC stops working?
A failed machine can be identified through monitoring and taken through a diagnostic and repair process. The customer should be kept informed of significant service issues. Electricity charges are based on actual consumption, so a machine that is not consuming power during a repair does not generate normal electricity consumption for that period.
How can I monitor my miner?
Customers should have visibility through the relevant mining pool and, where provided, the hosting/customer portal. This gives access to operational information such as device status, hashrate and performance, while the hosting team remains the operational point of contact.
Where do mining rewards go?
Mining rewards belong to the customer. The ASIC is configured to mine to the customer’s chosen pool/account and wallet destination. Eurominers and the hosting operator do not take ownership of the customer’s mined coins.
What availability can I expect?
The hosting operation is designed for stable, continuous mining and professional infrastructure management. Availability can nevertheless be affected by maintenance, repairs, power or network incidents and circumstances outside the operator’s control. Any specific availability commitment is governed by the signed agreement.
How long is the hosting contract?
The commercial framework can use fixed hosting terms, with the precise duration and pricing stated in the customer’s individual agreement. The publicly described Eurominers model uses contracts starting at 12 months, with longer terms commonly used for planning capacity and pricing.
Why use professional hosting instead of mining at home?
High-power ASICs produce substantial heat and noise and require significant continuous electricity, cooling, networking and electrical infrastructure. Professional hosting moves those requirements to a purpose-built environment and gives the customer operational support without having the equipment in their home.
Where is the Norway facility located?
The Norway hosting service is operated at a professional Norwegian mining location selected for its power supply, climate and infrastructure. The exact facility address and access arrangements are not treated as a public customer-facing detail unless confirmed separately.
Can customers visit the facility?
Site visits are subject to the hosting facility’s security, operational and access rules and must be arranged in advance. No customer should attend the facility without prior confirmation.
Are there hidden hosting costs?
The commercial objective is transparent pricing: electricity rates, setup charges and any other agreed service charges should be identified in the customer’s offer or contract. Any service not included in the agreed hosting scope should be confirmed before it is performed.
What happens if I need a repair or replacement?
Repair handling depends on the fault and the hardware’s warranty status. The hosting team can coordinate the operational side, while product warranty or manufacturer obligations remain governed by the hardware purchase terms and the applicable warranty provider.
What about mining taxes and profitability?
Mining profitability and tax treatment depend on the customer’s hardware, cryptocurrency, electricity consumption, market conditions and personal or corporate circumstances. Eurominers does not guarantee mining profitability and customers should obtain independent tax advice for their own situation.
What is the customer responsible for?
The customer is responsible for providing accurate hardware information, maintaining ownership and any applicable insurance or warranty arrangements, paying hosting invoices on time, supplying correct mining-pool/wallet details and complying with applicable laws and the hosting agreement.
What is the hosting operator responsible for?
The hosting operator is responsible for the agreed site infrastructure and operational hosting services, including power, cooling, monitoring and maintenance within the agreed scope. Responsibilities are subject to site conditions, maintenance requirements, force majeure and the signed contract.
What document governs the final conditions?
